Healing Through the Power of Animals
At Treasured Secrets, we walk beside individuals and families during some of the most profound chapters of life.
Our work is rooted in the quiet understanding shared between people and animals — the stillness of breath, the grounding of companionship, and the gentle rhythms that help us feel safe when the world feels uncertain.
We offer spaces where love, presence, and dignity can settle softly, allowing each person to feel held within the great circle of care.
Our Approach
We believe that compassion is not a task but a way of being; as a good friend once said, 'We Are How We Treat Each Other.'
Our integrative practice blends animal-assisted presence, reflective support, and calm, person-centred communication.
Like the sanctuary animals who teach us patience and acceptance, we sit quietly beside families, listening, noticing, and offering the small kindnesses that ease the heart.
Our approach honours the wisdom of every species and the natural rhythm of each person’s journey.

What We Offer
We offer gentle, non-clinical support that adapts to the needs of each family:
reflective conversations, animal-assisted grounding, memory and legacy activities, and calm companionship through the turning points of illness and end-of-life.
Every visit is guided by dignity, empathy, and deep respect for individual pace.
We do not seek to fix or to change, only to walk beside, helping families find moments of meaning, steadiness, and peace.
Intergenerational Support
Illness and loss ripple through every generation. We create spaces where children, young people, and adults can meet these experiences together, sometimes through story, sometimes through silence, and often through the grounding presence of animals.
By weaving narrative, reflection, and gentle interaction, we help families remain connected, supported, and held in ways that feel natural and safe, even in the most delicate moments.

A Note on Stillness
Stillness is not the absence of movement.
It is the place where breath, memory, and care gather.
In the sanctuary, animals rest beside one another in unspoken solidarity.
In our work, we offer that same stillness to families.
A moment to breathe.
A space to feel.
A pause where love is allowed to sit without being hurried.
